Hack Squat MachineEver use a hack-squat machine?

It’s pretty nifty, I’ll tell you that!  This lovely little beastie is currently residing in my basement, and I use it whenever it’s Leg Day for me at home.

What I like about the Powertec Squat Machine is that it really lets you control your form well when performing squats…and you know, once you’ve said that you’ve said it all!

Whenever I use it, I’m able to "sit back" during my squat and keep my back straight.  And after only 3 rounds of 8 reps, I’m feeling it bigtime in my calfs as well. 

Another benefit to it is the release lever thingee - it ensures that you don’t go BELOW your squatting level and injure yourself.  And if you have no spotter, this is a good thing indeed!

I got mine at my local sporting goods store, but I now see that Amazon has them for a discount over at this link here.  And don’t forget - eBay often has hack/squat machines at a discount too like:
