Have you ever seen (gasp! Dare I say it) Urban Rebounding?
For the usual human bean, it can be called "jumping on a mini-trampoline to get your heart-rate up".
But! For those brave and intrepid few, it can mean,
To Boldy Go Where Elephants Fear To Tread!
In other words,
Is that cool or what! Seriously, incorporating a mini-trampoline into your fitness workouts (especially if you have small children about) can be most useful indeed.
Here are some great beginners resources:

Previews from the DVD "Rebound for the Health of it" by Sharron Ribeiro and her Exercell team

And of course you can’t miss:
The Incredible Trampoline Hang
So! Want to get your bounce on and try out mini-trampolines?
There are tons of ways you can get them for cheap or even free! Some of my favorite include:
- Post a request on your local Freecycle - That’s how I got 4 of ‘em for my family
- Ask your neighbors - chances are, at least one of them has one moldering in the attic
- Check on eBay! Lookie here!
- Check on Amazon! Lookie there!

Rating: 4 Date: 2009-01-11 Summary: The kids love it … This mini trampoline was bought as a christmas present for our three boys, who have used it extensively since then. As a toy for kids, it works very well. The suspension is elastic bands instead of springs like I was expecting, which makes me wonder about the durability, and I couldn’t find a maximum weight limit on it, so my wife and I try to stay off it so as not to stretch out the elastic, but it works great for what we bought it for. Assembly instructions were easy to follow, and hilarious, almost worth the purchase …more
And if you really can’t stand NOT buying brand-name, you can indulge in:

Whatever you decide, just remember - modify the workout to what suits YOU best. Don’t try to keep up with the Joneses, instead, be true to yourself first and foremost. Skill will come, be patient - just take those first few steps to success.
